Using EasyFTP


Here is a short help file on how to actually use the Program


Section 1: Transfering Files

To transfer files in EasyFTP all you have to do is follow the steps below:

  1. Connect to the remote computer
  2. Select the Remote or Local file you wish to transfer
  3. Click the upload or download button on the toolbar or select the correct menu entry
  4. You can also Double click the file on either the remote or local side and this will either upload or download depending on which side you are on.

Section 2: Deleting Files

You can only delete a file on the remote server at this time. To do this just select the remote file that you wish to delete and then click the delete file button on the toolbar or select the correct menu entry.

Section 3: Deleting Directories

You can only delete a Directory on the remote server at this time. To do this just select the remote Directory that you wish to delete and then click the delete directory button on the toolbar or select the correct menu entry.

Section 4: Create a new Directory

You can only create a Directory on the remote server at this time. To do this just select the create Directory option on the toolbar or menu item and answer the question that is asked and the directory will be created.

Section 6: Other Tips

If for some reason while you are using the program it does not refresh itself during the session all you have to do is click the refresh button on the toolbar to update the remote and local sides. There is also a menu item for this functionality.


Please note that during file transfer the entire program is not accessable due to the one way traffic that the current control allows me to use. If users would like to have two way traffic they should register the program so i may be able to afford the nessasary tools to complete this program.
